MP NEET PG Counselling 2026: Round 1 Result 29 Oct, Seats

In short

DME Madhya Pradesh’s NEET PG 2026 state-quota counselling is in Round 1. The merit list came out on 21 October, and choice filling and locking runs from 24 to 27 October, until midnight, at dme.mponline.gov.in. The Round 1 allotment result is due on 29 October, with reporting, document verification and admission from 30 October to 10 November (6 PM). As reported by Aakash, the merit list has 4,776 candidates and Round 1 offers 728 government and 1,413 private MD/MS seats. Registration closed on 20 October.

Updated 25 October 2026. The Round 1 dates are from Aakash (22 October), KollegeApply (21 October) and CollegeDekho (16 October), which agree; PW and EduProspect (both 13 October) confirm the registration deadline and choice-filling dates. Aakash and CollegeDekho describe the DME schedule, dated 12 October, as tentative. The merit list count and seat numbers are reported only by Aakash, and the ₹1,100 registration fee only by CollegeDekho, so treat them as reported, not official. We could not open the DME notice PDFs, so check dme.mponline.gov.in before you lock choices or pay.

What this round covers

  • The 50% state quota of MD, MS, diploma and DNB seats in Madhya Pradesh. The other 50% All India Quota is filled by MCC, whose Round 1 result came out on 23–24 October. See our MCC NEET PG 2026 schedule.
  • Private college seats, including NRI-quota seats. Fees vary widely by college and branch, and the reports we read give no college-wise fees, so check each private college’s fee notice before you list it. Our NRI quota guide explains how that quota works.

Upgrade, resignation and the bond

Aakash reports three rules from the DME schedule. You mark an upgradation option (yes or no) at admission and can change it in your login until 11:59 PM on 10 November. Online resignation is open from 30 October to 10 November. The seat-leaving bond does not apply to a Round 1 resignation. Read the DME rule book before you resign a seat in a later round, when the bond may apply.

What to do in the next 7 days

  1. Lock your choices by midnight on 27 October. Put the branch you want most first, and only list private colleges whose full fee you have checked.
  2. Compare with your MCC result. If you hold an MCC Round 1 seat, decide which you prefer before MCC joining closes on 2 November.
  3. Check the result on 29 October and download the allotment letter.
  4. Report by 6 PM on 10 November with original documents, and set your upgradation choice.
  5. If your rank is low, read our NEET PG low-score options and least competitive clinical branches.
