Careers360 reports that the deposit is forfeited if you do not report to the college you are allotted, or withdraw after the process ends. Read the refund clause in the Round 3 bulletin before you pay ₹2,00,000. Our refund and exit rules guide explains how forfeiture usually works.

Who can take part in Round 3

  • Fresh registration is allowed. Careers360 reports that the Round 3 application form is open, and MedAdmit says Round 3, unlike Round 2, takes fresh registrations, so candidates who missed Rounds 1 and 2 can enter now.
  • Joined candidates are out. As reported by MedAdmit, a candidate who has already joined a seat from Round 1 or Round 2 cannot register again.
  • Fill only colleges you would join. A Round 3 allotment that you do not take up can cost you the deposit.
  • Domicile and category rules are in the DGME bulletin. Our UP DGME counselling guide explains how government and private seats are handled in UP.

What private MBBS costs in UP this year

As reported by Careers360 from the DGME fee notice for 2026-27, annual MBBS tuition at UP’s minority private medical colleges is about ₹16 lakh to ₹18 lakh, with IIMSR Lucknow the highest at ₹18.75 lakh a year before hostel and other charges. The same report puts the full first-year cost at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad at about ₹22.31 lakh including hostel, miscellaneous charges and a refundable security. Fees for other private colleges are in the same DGME notice. Compare with our lower-fee private colleges list and add the extras in our hidden costs guide.
