Each state runs its own MBBS counselling for state-quota, management and NRI seats, and MCC runs the 15% All India quota and deemed universities. The names below were checked against each body’s own site in September 2026; several names in circulating lists were wrong (for example Andhra Pradesh’s body is Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, not Dr. YSR University). Always start from the official site, never from an agent’s link.

We list a web address only where we confirmed it belongs to the body. For Andhra Pradesh, and for the Uttarakhand and Telangana counselling portals themselves, we could not confirm a stable domain; reach them through the university’s own site.
What was live in the third week of September 2026
- Puducherry (CENTAC): Round 2 provisional allotment on 13 September; the Round 2 last date was extended.
- West Bengal (WBMCC): its news page shows the Round 2 result published and a revised schedule dated 17 September.
- Chhattisgarh (CGDME): Round 2 scrutiny and admission had started.
- Jharkhand (JCECEB): a revised schedule for the second and third rounds dated 17 September.
- Kerala (CEE): the second-phase MBBS/BDS allotment was published.
Schedules change by the day, and state bodies revise them after server problems and court orders. Treat this as a snapshot and read the portal before you act.
Can you apply outside your home state?
It depends on the state and on the seat type: state-quota government seats are generally for domicile candidates, while management and NRI seats in many private colleges are open more widely. The rule is set by each body’s prospectus, and we could not confirm it from a primary source for every state above, so we do not state it here. Which body conducts MBBS counselling in Andhra Pradesh?
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada. The state law renaming it Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences in 2022 was reversed in 2024, so lists that still say YSR are out of date.
Is KEAM used for MBBS admission in Kerala?
No. KEAM is Kerala’s engineering and pharmacy entrance exam. MBBS seats are allotted on NEET-UG rank through the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations’ centralised allotment process.
Who runs the All India quota counselling?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) runs the 15% All India quota in government colleges and the counselling for deemed universities and central institutions. States run the rest.
What is the Gujarat MBBS counselling site?
medadmgujarat.org, run by the Admission Committee for Professional Medical Educational Courses; its undergraduate committee handles MBBS.
