In short
Adesh Medical College & Hospital is at Mohri, Shahabad (Markanda), Kurukshetra, Haryana. It is a private, society-run college affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, and NMC’s 2026-27 matrix lists 250 MBBS seats. Haryana’s fee schedule for private colleges under that university is ₹12,00,000 a year, rising 7.5% a year, with USD 1,10,000 for the whole course for NRIs. “Adesh Medical College Ambala” is a portal label for the same college, not a separate one.
Which Adesh is which
NMC’s matrix lists two Adesh medical colleges, in different states: Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Shahabad, Kurukshetra (Haryana, 250 seats) and Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Bathinda (Punjab, 150 seats, run by Adesh University). Neither is in Ambala. Some education portals attach “Ambala” to the Kurukshetra college because it sits on NH-44 near Ambala; the address on the college’s own site is Kurukshetra district. Do not confuse either with MM Institute of Medical Sciences, Mullana, which is a different private college in Ambala district.
The fee schedule
Haryana’s gazette of 14 August 2024 notifies the fee for MBBS in private medical colleges affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS, Rohtak — the category Adesh falls in — for the 2024-25 session:
| Head | Amount |
|---|---|
| Tuition including development charges | ₹12,00,000 a year, with an annual increase of 7.5% (so year 2 is about ₹12.9 lakh) |
| NRI tuition | USD 1,10,000 for the entire course |
| College security deposit | ₹2,00,000, refundable, adjustable against the last fee |
| Library / sports and medical | ₹3,000 / ₹2,000 |
| Hostel | Not more than ₹75,000 or actual, whichever is less, plus mess charges on actual basis |
| University and examination charges | Actual |
This is the 2024-25 schedule. In 2024 Haryana DMER also published a public notice proposing a revision to ₹14 lakh a year with 10% annual increases, and USD 1,25,000 for NRIs; we could not find a final order confirming it. Ask the college and DMER which schedule applies to your admission year, in writing.
Seats, counselling and cutoffs
Seats are filled through Haryana’s counselling run by DMER and Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS, Rohtak, on NEET-UG rank. We do not publish an Adesh closing rank or mark: only education portals reported figures, they did not identify the round or quota, and they cannot be checked. Use the round-wise results on the Haryana counselling site for the exact cutoff, and remember that the 2026 qualifying scores (213 General, 177 OBC/SC/ST) are higher than in 2025 — see what changed.
